Club Officers

A. The Officers shall be President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.

B. Each Officer shall have been a member for six (6) months. Each Officer shall be a member in good standing. " Good Standing" is defined as a Member who has met all the membership requirements as set forth in Article V, C1, C2, C3 (a) and C3 (b).

C. The President, Vice President and Secretary shall assume their official duties on the first day of January of each year and shall serve for a term of one (1) year. Term shall end on the 31st day of December.

D. The Treasurer shall assume official duties on the first day of January and shall serve for a term of two (2) years. Term shall end on the 31st day of December of the second year.

E. The Treasurer and the newly elected Treasurer shall work closely during the months of November and Decemeber in order to achieve a smooth transition.

Officer Duties

The duties and responsibities of the officers shall be as follows

A. If requested and/or required, the outgoing board shall mentor the new board members.

Board Meetings

At least one (1) formal board meeting shall be held in each quarter year, on a date other than the date of the club meeting. Informal board meetings shall be held, as required, prior to the club meeting.

Club Meetings

A. The club shall hold twelve (12) regularly scheduled meetings each year.

B. Club meetings shall be held on the last Monday of each month, except in the case of that day being a holiday. In this case the meeting shall be held on the second to the last Monday of the month.

C. The December meeting shall be held open for a social activity.

D. Officers have the authority to reschedule any meeting to any day, providing it is beneficial for the members.

E. The club meeting shall begin at a time established by the club members. The club meetings shall be held at a designated location established by the club members.

F. Agenda for club meeting shall be: 1. old and new business. 2. Demonstration (s).3. One (1) demonstration in each quarter year to be hands-on demonstration. 4. Sharing of ideas pertinent to cake decorating and related areas.

G. Club meetings shall be limited to club members and guests.

H. Guests may attend a limit of two (2) club meetings before being required to pay dues of the appropriate amount to become a member. This amount will depend upon what time of year they join the club.

I. Children at club meetings: Only nursing babies and children over twelve (12) years of age shall be allowed to be at club meetings.
